These placements are offered to children and young people with few complex needs. Usually these children and young people come with their foster parents when transferring to Mosaic Foster Care.
In most cases they do not require therapy.
This group of children and young people form the largest cohort of our service and are at the core of our service design and delivery.
Typically this group will have experienced multiple traumas resulting in emotional and behavioural difficulties. They will often have experienced multiple placement breakdowns or be at risk of developing them.
These placements require multiple support services to support them and includes but is not limited to:
We have particular expertise in responding to children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse and have behavioural difficulties stemming from this, for example children with reactive sexual behaviour, sexually harmful behaviour and vulnerability to sexual exploitation.
