Reflecting and moving forwards

January is always a time to reflect and 2020 certainly was a difficult year for so many people in so many ways.

It was especially hard for those in lockdown who were suffering domestic abuse or violence and who’s home life was quite simply an ordeal, aside from COVID-19.

Amongst those affected were many young people who needed a caring foster home where they could learn how to achieve their full potential and live the life they deserve.

We are thankful that in 2020, 12 households were approved by our fostering panel to look  after such special people, and currently have another 10 in the application process.

If you have been thinking about how you could make a difference and wonder if fostering would suit your family life and experience, then please get in touch and we can have a chat.  We are always happy to answer any questions to find out if fostering is, or isn’t for you.  It’s not a decision that is made quickly and we have the experience to guide you towards making that choice.

We are looking for people from all walks of life who have a spare room and the time to give to a young person who needs the love and support you can offer, that has been denied to them.
