How long have you worked in the foster care industry?

I began my foster care career in 1999 and move to Mosaic in 2013.

What is your favourite part of your job?

Supporting the foster parents throughout their journey with us. Our therapeutic approach makes a huge difference to the outcome for a foster parent and a young person in their care.

What do you most enjoy about working at Mosaic Foster Care?

I like complex work with children and young people, in small tight teams where people can be open.

What has been the most memorable moment for you in your foster care career?

I have had lots of memorable moments so it is hard for me to choose just one. My favourite memories are spotting potential in a foster parent and helping them believe in themselves to develop.

What do you do to relax?

Working on my family allotment, listen to classic music, playing and watching football.
