I joined Mosaic and the foster care industry in late 2022 but I spent 3 years in health and social care which has helped me during my time so far.
My favourite part of my job is making a difference and helping young people and families.
I enjoy the reflective aspect - learning from different cases and improving for the future. Also, I love how friendly and welcoming the staff are!
My typical workday consists of checking the referrals inbox, giving updates, trainings and meetings, & trying my best to reach a positive outcome!
My most influential quote comes from my Buddhist practice, which is “No mud, no lotus” - the lotus has to grow through the mud in the pond to reach the light; it means that without the trials and tribulations in our lives we would not grow to be our best selves and reach enlightenment.
