We know it can be confusing working your way through information about fostering, so here we explain what the most common acronyms used mean, peoples' job roles, what happens at various meetings and the differences between an Independent Fostering Agency (such as Mosaic Foster Care) and the Local Authority (Council).

What does it mean?

Independent Fostering Agency or Local Authority?
